What can Labour learn from the Swedish and Austrian elections? EUROPA-Soirée, 17 Oct

EUROPA-Soirée

EUROPA-SoiréeElections have just taken place in Sweden and Austria, with very differing fortunes for centre-left parties. In Sweden, a resurgent right managed to win a narrow victory. The ‘Nya Moderaterna’ have a dynamic young leader – sounds a bit like Cameron and the Tories? In Austria, the left fared better, with the SPÖ topping the polls.

So what can we learn? Plenty! Or so we reckon in the Labour Movement for Europe. Come along to the EUROPA-Soirée on Tuesday 17th October for a fun and informal discussion of these issues and what lessons Labour can learn. All the details are at the LME-LSE website.
