Back in a position of power and influence. Well, not really!

PES RoseThe launch event of the Labour Movement for Europe, London and the South East Region took place on Friday. Peter Skinner MEP spoke on ‘Is Europe A Labour Issue?‘, with Mary Honeyball MEP and David Schoibl from LME also speaking. We had about 18 people at the launch – not too bad for a Friday evening! Further, a provisional Annual General Meeting took place after the debate, and I am now the Secretary of LME-LSE – a wonderful position of power and influence! 😉

A full report of the event will follow on the LME-LSE website very soon, and look out for plenty more events from the autumn onwards.
