I can’t remember the last time I was so optimistic about a site launch as today: the election campaign website for Liz Kendall, Labour candidate in Leicester West at the forthcoming general election has gone live.
Liz initially contacted me having seen sites I’ve developed for Rushanara Ali and Chuka Umunna and it was clear from the first phone call that she is a determined, sharp, committed and organised individual. An initial 40 minute meeting to discuss the site delivered more results than hours of client meetings normally accomplish.
Liz has had a clear idea of what she wants, but has also been ready to accept advice, and above all has taken a great personal interest in the development of her site, meaning the website really reflects her political priorities. All too often that’s not the case for politicians’ websites.
The site runs with WordPress, makes use of Google Maps, surveys, has a Paypal donation facility, and integrates Liz’s use of Twitter and Facebook.
In short I’m happy to have delivered a site for an excellent and professional candidate who will make an excellent MP for Leicester West and I’m looking forward to seeing the site develop between now and the election!

@rorke – I can’t reply to that really, I am Liz’s web manager and cannot reply to political questions posed to her. You could try asking her at http://www.lizkendall.org/
All I can say is that Liz has struck me as a decisive, determined individual, and she is professional about what she does. Someone with those characteristics should make a good MP as far as I am concerned.
Hi
Frank Field has highlighted the dangers of the mass migration that Labour delibrately applied as tool for social engineering over the past decade. The indigenous white English population in Leicester are an official ethnic minority.
Your predecessor was far too busy with her snout in the trough sorting out her deals on the side to notice. I asked her for help once and she backed off when it became a choice between nyself and her own political expediences.
What are you going to say to stop me voting for the BNP in the face of this overwhelming invasion.
And dont waste your time banging on about how successful the multi cultural experiment has been. The only thing to come from this is the opportunity to be mugged by 20 pro gangs from around the world…all scum who can duck into the various ghettoes of Leicester….and turn me into an alien in my own town.
Guess though you can count on the usual thickoes who always vote Labour to drag the, selves away from the TV and the booze to give you a majority…but the real thinking English left are tired of being treated like second class citizens.
