I’m heading towards Berlin this afternoon – on the X2000 to Malmö and then on the night train from there to Berlin, that goes on the Trelleborg-Sassnitz ferry. Have never been on a train on a ferry… The crossing is less than 4 hours – much better than the 26 hours from Newcastle to Bergen a fortnight ago. A few pics from the journey so far are on the Photoblog.
In Berlin I’m doing some website work first of all, and then participating in the Young Königswinter conference at the Europäische Akademie in Gruenewald – 5 days of interesting politics. There will be wireless internet there, so I’ll be writing some observations.
