So we’ve organised a whole bunch of EU Tweetups in Brussels. But two of the three of us that started it in Brussels, Anne Laumen and I, now live in Berlin. So why not bring #EUtweetup to Berlin too?
Hence do come along to the first #EUTweetup, Berlin, from 1800 on Tuesday 19 November at the bar / restaurant Gorki Park, Weinbergsweg 25, 10119 Berlin [map]. The best way to get there, other than by bike or foot of course, is U8 to Rosenthaler Platz as all the tram lines in the area are currently being rebuilt. A table is booked there in the name of Worth, and tweet Anne or I if you do not find us or want to check if we are still there.
For those of you that have not attended a Tweetup of any sort here’s the basic idea: you get together in real life people who otherwise tend to normally debate on Twitter, in this case to talk about European politics. There’s no agenda, everyone is welcome, and people come and go throughout the evening. In Brussels we have had up to 40 people attending, but I suspect we might be fewer in Berlin, at least this first time. We’ll speak whatever languages we can – probably a mix of German and English in practice.
So come along on 19th!
