Google tourism: visit South Wales

I’ve been browsing around a bit with Google Earth over the last couple of days, including looking at the mad and bizarre website Googlesightseeing – well worth a few minutes if you have never seen it.

So what can I use this thing for? Well, if you click any of the following links and have Google Earth installed, you will be taken to the location. So for a start here is 8 Villa Street in Walworth where I presently live, and 42 Redbrook Road in Newport where my parents reside. Then for the tourist stuff I visited this weekend, here’s Cardiff Bay, Tredegar House, Big Pit and – especially impressive – the Transporter Bridge in Newport.
