OrangeIt’s part of France Telecom, one of Europe’s largest telecommunications groups, but Orange’s UK broadband service is really getting me down at the moment. The broadband connection where I live in Clapham keeps on breaking down at all the times I want to use it (weekday evenings and weekends), and when I have called their call-centre, I get a load of useless excuses that it is actually due to some problems with my modem or my broadband filter. Rubbish. It’s clear that the service just can’t cope with the demand at peak times – it works fine at all other times. Just to make matters worse, the recorded message tells you that ‘you may be able to get the information at our website – orange.co.uk’. NO! I can’t damned well access the website because your service is too rubbish!
