A) You don't know what "my way" was, and B) a narrow "in" vote would not have unleashed a tidal wave of chaos

And there's the rub. You led the ref campaign, but it was always going to be a leader in thrall of that core who'd be left to implement it.

It was only because of those MPs that there even was a referendum to begin with. You knew this all along. How else did you expect it'd go?
